Biotherapy as alternative or supplement

Hello everybody!

There's been a while since the last discussion in this board. I was reading about different types of biotherapy and it made me wonder, why it still isn't very popular between people. It isn't nothing new. There are a lot of disinformation, stereotypes and prejudice about that. Sometimes people mix up definitions and think that biotherapy is healing with some kind of biological energy. But the biotherapy actually is using preparations of natural origin, such as biological viruses (I already told someone about rigvir) and there are some other types also like hydro therapy.

It's not a panacea. There are some cases that are not be able to be healed. But even if it does not heal, it can improve the immune system, that is also very important to make the pacient feel better.

What do you think about biotherapy? i would be very happy to hear!

Hi

Can you give me a little more info on biotherapy.  Is it used for breast cancer?

Hi there!

Unfortunately, if we are speaking about virotherapy, brest cancer cells aren't sensitive to this treatment. In this case it can only improve the immune system.

But there are other kinds of biotherapy, this is what i found:

There is said that some kind of biotherapy can be effective in  breast cancer who have certain cell characteristics.

I guess, it is always the best to ask a doctor.

Good luck,

Jackie

Hi there!

I completely agree that biotherapy is a very developing and promising treatment methid for various types of cancer. It is really a shame that there are so many stereotypes around this natural way of treating cancer. I somehow tend to think that the overall belief of chemo being the only 'right' thing to do when it comes to cancer is a very old fashioned view. As you mentioned virotherapy, I myself know people who had been treated with Rigvir, and are now cancer free. Therefore, I agree to the opinion that there isn`t one medicine that can or can`t treat cancer - each individual responds differently, and I don`t see anything wrong in deciding to treat your body with natural means of treatment.

Warmly, Adams
