Essential Thrombocytosis ALL Symptoms

Hi everyone. I was recently confirmed as JAK2 positive and that was a slam dunk for the ET dx. I'm wondering if anyone has has like burning & tingling sensations in the lower legs and feet, (feels like poor circulation) maybe along with little muscle twitches in the calves? I had an abnormal brain MRI and can't see the Neuro for  aweek or so and my anxiety has shot through the roof. I'm wondering what may be the link between the MRI, and the ET and the tingling, burning sensations. My Oncologits is doing her fellowship, and I'm not real confident that she's really experienced with this. My Hematologist seems pretty good though.

As well, what were all of your symptoms that brought you to diagnosis? Here are mine:

-Dizziness/Vertigo

-Pain in fingertios and toes on the right side

-High Platelets

-Tingling in the hands and feet

Thanks, and God bless.

My husband who was just diagnosed a week ago suffered from all the same symptoms. For several years he struggled with headaches and tunnel vision tht became more frequent and worse over time. He also had 'charlie horses' in his right calf. He woud also say that some of his fingers or toes would go 'frozen' or numb, or occassionally tingle or burn. Then his foot became purple on top and his middle toe got a sore on it and became totally discolored about 3 months ago. His foot hurt so bad that he would yell out in pain anytime someone bumped it. In the past two weeks, he has had several scans done including 2 CT scans. The 1st CT scan came back looking normal except for one small spot hence the second scan... no results back from that yet. From what I have read, all of these symptoms are likely due to having very thick and sticky blood. I am curious about the anxiety you mentioned. My hubby has had mood disorders and depression throughout his years. I'm slightly curious if any of the meds used for that can lead to this JAK2 mutation? He was on fluoxitine when diagnosed and doc knew that and did not say to stop taking it, however, he hasnt taken it since starting the hydrea just in case it interacts. Hope this helps.

I have ET and muscle twitches as well. Was it ET related or something else? I'll be grateful for any reply. Thanks.
