I am sorry to hear this. I have found this thread to be extremely helpful. I know others feel the same way. We are all keenly aware of our mortality. I think I can speak for many in saying that the bluntness of your post leaves us wondering (although it's meaning is obvious) what is your point? I hope that you can heal, and I am truly sorry for the suffering that optivity endured. Sometimes it is hard to look back at the struggle. Please let me know if you would prefer to drop out of this page - I can help. Anna

I feel a great sense of grief when someone who has suffered with cancer passes and I'm very sorry for your loss. However, I prefer to reframe my challenge in a positive light. When other brain cancer sufferers ask me what is the secret to my extended survival, I mention many clinical factors, but most importantly, I feel that I have been inspired by  the kindness of a loving wife and family, and caring people. The love and admiration that fill my days with gratitude have helped me to officially become a long term brain cancer survivor. The  unconditional and  uplifting support and encouragement that I have received have given me the emotional and physical energy to survive, be grateful,  and think beyond myself. It has helped me to be positive about today and optimistic about tomorrow and to devote my remaining days to helping others afflicted with challenging health issues. As a result, I have a tendency to put a smile on my face, laughter in my heart and maintain an optimistic and courteous outlook towards everyone and everything, including my brain cancer. Wishing everyone everything good in life, especially health, Bobby

Julian You are such an inspiration for those living with GBM. Mary had her last MRI on Saturday and I am taking her to see her local oncologist this afternoon. As usual, she is anxiously awaiting the results and for the first time I am a little concerned as I have seen what appears to be a couple of steps backward the last few weeks - a more disheveled appearance and memory loss. She commented that if there are any signs of a reoccurrence maybe she should go back on her chemo - which she has been off of since December. She has an appointment at Duke on the 17th so we will see. Thank you for your support - and reminding cancer patients that being a scrapper is a good thing when fighting cancer. Diana

Joenlea,

My husband was just diagnosed today.  Can you provide more information what homeopathic remedies you did?  Any information would be helpful.

I had surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy for GBM, and then followed a supplement regime. Additionally I also took homeopathic remedies, Ruta and calcium, often ascribed to Dr Banerji. I have no idea what works but something does as my prognostic survival expired a year ago. I am now two years on and feel as though I am recovering but it is slow. If I can help with any other information, do let me know

Did you have to figure out the supplement regime yourself or onconlogist provided a specialty expert/nutriotinist?
