I actually spoke to Dr. Ko on the phone. I think it was too far along at that point. We did go to Germany for stem cell and although it didn't work on my hsband I know of 3 others who are doing fine.

Did Dr. Ko have anything to say about progress on 3BP?

Is the delay due to the lawsuit, or technical issues?

Dr. Ko asked a bunch of question about my husbands condition and was going to get back to me, this never happened. She may have though it was too late. I was unable to reach her after that.

My understanding was the delay was do to the lawsuit. Have you tried to contact her?

No, I haven't tried to contact Dr. Ko.

I'm waiting to hear back from my pen pal who is using syrosingopine/metformin.  His next PET scan is the end of the month.

I just came across an English language article about the South Korean efforts to progress 3BP. Just FYI, it's here: http://www.businesskorea.co.kr/news/articleView.html?idxno=3

Shirley is still losing weight, down to 131.  I just placed an order for a one gram vial of syrosingopine...

They are out of stock, say it will take about twenty days to get it in.

JohnnyP, I wonder whether a chitosan formulation would be helpful. When methylglyoxal was formulated in chitosan,NanoMG, there was a dramatic escalation of efficacy.

Very startling news!

KDA has approved the 3BP phase 1 and apparently they are all set to dose next month? This thread has waited all these years to see this happen. It is such a blessing that someone is finally going to move this into a proper clinical trial.

NYH817100 is not 3BP, but seems to be a combo of gossypol and phenformin https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5226516/

Yes, I have seen that, just watched it again, thanks.

I have been making a high fat ptotein shake for her, made with 1/4 cup MCT oil (mixed with 2 tablespoons cocoa powder), added to 1 scoop protein powder, 2oz cream cheese, 1 cup water, plus double hand full of ice, blended.

But, her appetite is poor so it sometimes takes her three days to finish it.  I have recently started giving her two or three tablespoons of fish oil a day.  It's orange flavored, filtered, no fish smell or taste.

The MCT and fish oil can cause diarhea.  We are still doing hyperbaricoxygen treatments, so she won't take the oils on treatment days.  She doesn't want to be trapped in the chamber and have the runs.

My penpal on another forum just sent me his most recent PET and CT scans, showing his cancer is regressing.  He's using the combination of syrosingopine and metformin.

He saw the same paper I saw earlier this year, but he actually did something with it.  He contacted one of the researchers in Switerland, who then advised him on dosing.  He then sourced the drug in China and has been using it on himself since January.

I ordered it last week, but it's out of stock at the moment.  Apparently several others on that forum are also using it.

I will post the link to his thread after I post this message.  The link is long so I will use tinyurl to shorten it.
