I just love to walk along the beach of an after noon. And being in now in remission with my prostrate cancer for a while now I felt good .  But I now 61 Age has caught up with me.  because of my age I have been getting pain Test from my doctor show I'm till in remission  he said the pains I'm getting are the start of arthritis.  lt seemed to be going though most parts of my body, it had gotten to the stage for me it was becoming very difficult and very painful just to get up and go for a walk. Seeing my doctor he prescribe an  anti inflammatory call celebrex this did help for a while but it give me the worst case of indigestion I ever had So I had a talk to my father who is now 84 and still plays golf he told me had no trouble with arthritis and told me why he said a few years ago he went on to CoConut oil and cordial silver.  the  CoConut oil help with his joints and he had read off the net that the cordial silver seem to kills off the two types of bacteria that have been know to cause arthritis. I have been on this now for about three weeks and looks like it getting better,  I found I can finally go for a short walk with out to much pain. And I seem to be sleeping better. Any one else tried this Ray

Ray,

Try Tart Cherry Juice, it works for my arthritis and it is anti-inflammatory. It would also help with your prostate cancer. Due to my many ski accidents I have arthritis in both of my shoulders. However, because of the tart cherry juice I am pain free.

Hope this helps

Dan

Ray:

I take 3,000 mg of omega 3 and 1,200 mg of Curcumin for inflamation and arthritis.  This seems to work for me.

3000 mg of omega 3 in what proportion of DHA to EPA? I'm not sure, but I thought higher DHA is better for circulaton and triglycerides. Does it matter or does the total amount of omega 3 more important? One ratio may be better for reducing inflamation vs. another???

Right on Research shows that omega-3 fatty acids reduce inflammation and may help lower risk of chronic diseases such as heart disease, cancer, and arthritis. Omega-3 fatty acids are highly concentrated in the brain and appear to be important for cognitive (brain memory and performance) and behavioral function. In fact, infants who do not get enough omega-3 fatty acids from their mothers during pregnancy are at risk for developing vision and nerve problems. Symptoms of omega-3 fatty acid deficiency include fatigue, poor memory, dry skin, heart problems, mood swings or depression, and poor circulation.
