Hi. I'm a 29 year old female. I was recently diagnosed with a precancerous eccrine poroma that was removed from my scalp. I thought it was a cyst all this time. It had been growing since I was 14 years old. I go next week for a surgery to check the surrounding area for anymore precancerous cells. I'm nervous about developing the cancer. My doctor says I will be checked every three months for regrowth. How are you doing?

I know this is an old post but hoping you are doing well and hoping you found support and resources. I'm having a hard time finding information or others in the same situation as my 17 year old daughter. She was diagnosed with eccrine ductalk adenocarcinoma June of 2016 and has had 4 surgeries and will have radiation. Just wondering if you would like share any of your experience with me? One again I hope all is well.

Over the past winter I was diagnosed with sweat gland cancer.  I thought it was a cyst on the  outside of my right eye.  It turned out to be sweat gland carcinoma of skin of eyelid.  Had surgery, removed part of my eyelid and the area where (I thought was a cyst), was reopened and quite a bit of surgery done also to the bone.  It had spread more than anticipated.   This led to reconstruction.  I feel so fortunate for the great doctors and my family.  However, I am very concerned it may be somewhere else in my body that is not visible.   I wish everyone who has been touched by cancer the very best.  Seeking out information on new research for this and support.
