Hi Zoe01

Thanks so much for this url.  I have been researching this for some time now.  My doctor recommends it for many of his cancer patients and here in Canada we are fortunate to have medical marijuana supplied by our Government for $5.00 per gram when one has a prescription for it.  My doctor recommends inhaling the herb from a vaporizer rather than using it in cigarette form.

There are some valuable links at the end of the message on the link you provided and if one does a search on PubMed for their particular type ofcancer and cannabinoidsthey should find some very helpful information there as well.

Here is an example re lung cancer

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22198381

And another re the digestive system

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/?term=cannabinoids+Esophageal+Cancer

Please pass along my good wishes to your father.  He is lucky to have you advocating for him.

Don't understand why the above lung cancer link is not valid since I copied and pasted it from the PubMed site.

Here is one re breast cancer which I hope will open

ALL types of cancer? That's quite a broad statement.

I know for me, smoking weed quells my chemo-induced nausea much better than my two Rx meds, but that's as far as I can go.

That's great that you are finding alternative ways. This is a great strategy. But there is more to the story. we need to teach your father how to stop creating the cancer in his body.

If you are looking for someone to come along to take the shackles off, so you can be independent from the current health care system... message me. i can help you more than you know

Hello all,

I am new on CancerCompass, but I have read a lot of posts last 2 weeks since I have found out that my father has lung cancer (it seems that there's tumor on left kidney as well, but health care in my country is not on high level so I still miss a lot of information). Unfortunately in many countries Cannabis is forbidden - also in medical purposes.

I do not know did any of you have positive experience with cannabis oil, but I see that there's great effect of it.

I assume most of you are quite familiar with this link and Ric Simpson work

http://phoenixtears.ca/

Well, it seems that point in healing is to avoid heavy chemo treatmants as it kills healthy and tumor cells as well.

I would be more than grateful if some of you can share your experience with cannabis oil.

Be blessed

Here is a very recent documentary on the value of cannabis in treating cancers etc.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xh2qd_foV-4

I personally have not used the oil but do use vaporized product.  My latest tests show still NED. (Diagnosed nine years ago this coming May) At this point I am using it as a preventative measure and also to attempt to deal with the biofilms in my right lung which are immune to antibiotics and have caused serious lung infections several times a year for the past few years.   So far so good.

Hope this is helpful.

VeraRadovic.....  How is your father doing now?  If you send me a private message I'll gladly be of help in any way I can.
