pancreatic cancer?

Do you stay with your oncologist who has statistics of 1 to 2 years? I was on folfirinox for 9 treatments and the last 4 with folfiri because of neuropathy. After the 12th chemo, My scan showed 2 small liver lesions left(from multiple)and a 2cm tumor on my pancreas(started at 3.3 cm). I asked my doctor if we can add Interferon or switch the chemo to GAX so I don't get resistant to Folfiri. He said he doesn't do that, he sticks to his regimen Folfirinox and GAX with again satistics of 1 to 2 years. He is doing the pse(partial splenic embolization) which I know nothing really about but hope it works. Do I switch oncologists or switch to someone who is more open minded? My current doctor wants me to stay on Folfiri until he sees my levels rise or my tumor growing. I want to change chemos before it starts to grow so I don't become resistant! Any thoughts would be appreciated!!!

I'm surprised about the pse as it's a surgical procedure and hard to get.. The purpose is to allow chemo again. Why become restaint to two chemos at one time? GAX and GA are different from Folfiri so why use them now?
