We paid 185.00 per bottle which lasted about a month or just a little longer.  He was taking it every 4 hours around the clock, even setting an alarm so as not to miss a dose.  Just so we are clear, it did not work at all for him. He was also on other supplements, all of which, with the dr. fees added up to 4, 500 over the 4 months he was on it. Hope that helps, and also hoping to avoid others going through the same nightmare we did.

I feel very strongly that many in the medical profession are often quite cavilier about the brutality of prostate cancer treatment, and pay very little attention to quality of life issues. That is a most profound statement. I have been a nurse all my working life, but usually care for kids and women. The biopsy was extraordinarily horrible. No one noticed tat he was in so much pain that he was biting his hand to keep from screaming...according to docs he had a tight anal sphincter...really who wouldn't....being a man he never spoke out. Be warned and be an advocate for yourself or family member. It's crazy wrong! On another topic. Would the ND have offered Vit C IV w/o chemo? I have suggested Vitamin C IV to my hubby but he does not believe anything will change his course. He s on supplements and a Chinese herbal tea. We go to an oncologist ND here ...do you have other thoughts about this...thanks

OMG are you saying he was awake when he had the prostate biopsy done. If so that's really horrible. I could not imagine Medically any thing  more painful or degrading. Why did they do that.  For me It was bad enough after my  biopsy. I have stage 4 cancer its every were from my jaw to mt lower back I was told it was in my bones and eventually it would get in to my lungs.  I was also told. because My prostrate adenocarcinoma is a slow growing cancer chemo would be use less. But on here I was told there is a way to control cancer to slow  the cancer cells down and in some cases from rapidly deviding. this enable my imune system to kill off cancer cells As long as I stay on what Im on the cancer will not kill me. Would the ND have offered Vit C IV w/o chemo? here a sight that might answer that question for you.

Also My wife also a nurse.

  God bless both of you.

So sorry the bx was so painful.  When myhusband had his, he was awake also, and it was painful for him as well.  Probably about like having a cervical or endometrial bx?  It always hurts to have a chunk of tissue cut out!

As far the the ND offering IV C without chemo, so would.  Some would not be able to without an MD on board. In Washington where I live, our ND Oncologist told us just today it is illegal for an ND or even an ND Onc to treat cancer on their own without the supevision or cooperation of an MD ONc.  I think it may depend on the state in which you live, and the laws regulating the profession there.  The Vit C IV is wonderful and a huge immune booster.  My husband was on it all during his (Low Dose) Chemo.  He is now on Iscadore, a potent immune booster from Germany, as well as other supplements, and Zytiga, Lupron and prednisone and X-Geva.  His PSA today was down to 4.7-from an all time high of 222 while on Protocel, and 52 while on Lupron alone.  He is feeling very well although he is a Gleason 10 with mets to femur, ribs pelvis and spine.

High IV C will certainly not hurt-and may very likely help with energy, quality of life and maybe even more.  Ask you ND.  We really recommend Integrative Care-it is working wonderfully for us!

Best wishes.

Yes at Kaiser no one even suggested that anesthesia was necessary...nor was pain med prior or after procedure offered...interesting that you apparently had your under anesthesia. Yes painful and yes degrading...I used to think all the things women went through were I humanely done but this topped it for me. The site did not come through. Are you using IVC and how much and fr how long and how has it helped. I use it rather than invention all cancer chemo and have been shrinking my bulky tumor and having minimal side effects...usually my sugar drops out if iVC goes too quickly. I am interested in your use and your story details to share with me hubbie.

 Ray,

I am sorry you are going through so much!  What treatment are you on for your cancer if you don't mind saying?  How is your quality of life?  I hope you are on something that is helping you.

Ray, thanks for answering. Are you making the encapsulated Vitamin C yourself using the Ultra sonic machine I have seen on U-Tube?  I though about trying that for my husband, but when we went to the clinic where we are now, he got so much better that I laid that aside for now. Using the Encapsulated Vitamin C would probably be less expensive than IV C. I have read a little saying it is a scam, but it certainly seems to have worked for you. When the current regimen my husband is on stops working, then we will be up for trying something else for sure.  Right now he is doing very well.  Thanks for sharing.

I have a young friend with Colorectal Cancer Stage IV and she has really been helped with the Laitril/B-17/apricot pits, vitamin C and other stuff.  She is also getting some low dose chemo and had a temporary Colostomy in order to let things heal.

May your remission continue!

That's OK glade that  husband and you friend are  feeling better.  Just like to also say! To you and any one else reading this.  please don't depend on just this Encapsulated vitamin  C alone. It is not a stand alone Protocol.  I also use other things like  Apricot pits, Soy milk,  vitamin D and a mostly vegetable diet, just to name a few.

The Encapsulated vitamin  C is only one Protocol I use

God bless, take care, and be well Ray
