A dear friend told me of her story and I thought it would be nice to pass along :) She said she read in a book how sometimes loved ones would leave signs, like leaving a small feather or something, and my friend got so upset and 'talked' to her deceased mother and asked why she never sent her any signs in all these years? The next few days, she found random feathers in so many places! She and i were coworkers and one day I saw her face was funny and that's when she told me this story - because she found a feather on her desk. :) and she had soooo much comfort...

Where I go on retreats when our beloved priest passed the lady cook told me she found feathers throughout the house. The priest lived in the house.

Wow...that is very nice to know & I'm keeping my ears & eyes open for that. I haven't been on this site in awhile now since my husband went home to be with the Lord Feb-28-13.

I didn't believe her and she showed them to me . White feathers so beautiful . Fresh fluffy about one inch half long. Omg ...... She would find one like behind a door and under a chair. She cleaned the house too so she found them in the least expected places. Amazing two stories the same !!!!!! I guess about 7 in all !!!!!!

My daddy was my best friend ,my mentor,my go to guy. I was the last he talked to before he passed two years ago. I told him what was happening to him he died of just old age his body was tired and his heart was giving out. I stayed with him and comforted him and we both agreed he would die that day. My father and I talked of death and the process all the time . We both have a peace about dieing when it is our time. Because we know we are going home!!!!! No other sibling could talk that way with him but me. So I basically talked him to the other side. It was a perfect death. He hugged me told me he loved me and that he would be watching over me......it was so beautiful I didn't even cry because he was ready to leave this earth. I felt honored to see this process of my daddy at 78 years old. Wow I was so blessed . He was the first man to love me and after all our years together I was honored to be the chosen one to say goodbye. Sooooo my husband not too long ago was going into one of his I hate cancer take out on wife rages and we were in my bedroom. On the other side of house we heard a loud noise, my husband stopped yelling and said what was that....without hesitation I said that's my daddy he's tired of you yelling at me!!!!! Well his face turned pale and he shut up right then. And walked out my room . Smile Ps. My house is very quiet so the noise was quite obvious .

My husband died of metastatic kidney cancer on 1-26-13.  In May, he came to me in a dream.  I knew he was dead, and so did he.  He came and hugged me and just transmitted so much love and peace to me.  When I awoke, it was with a smile on my face!  And I just sat there for at least 10 minutes, just basking in the knowledge that my husband had come to me, just a peace and joy I can't explain.  As a teenager, my grandpa came to me after he died in a dream.  I had been quite upset that he had fallen dead on the street while the rest of our family was away on vacation.  In this dream, he came to the house and I started to panic because I knew he was supposed to be dead, and no one else in the house even saw him!  He just said to me," Terry, I just want you to know everything is ok.  Everything is ok."
