Ah wow - I've felt the bed move too, sometimes!  And it's always as I'm drifting to sleep (but still very much awake).  Scared me the first time but exactly like you, it made me smile after that.  Definitely a comforting feeling...

I also had something happen the other night. I started crying when I went to bed, turned off the light, and it felt like someone was touching my shoulder, It brought me great comfort.

When my husband was sick in bed during the night I would feel like someone was placing their hand on the bed between us ou know sorta like if a small dog was getting in the bed but we had no dog. One night when he was quite bad taking chemo at the house I felt it and just like a light bulb came on in my head I believe it was his mother checking on him because he was the baby of the family. after that it gave me a comforting feeling knowing that love never stops even if we die.
