Short Term Memory Deficits

My Dad was Dx with Glioma III in Dec. 2012  Inoperable. Treatments: WBR, Temodar. Novocure.  Added Avastin recently.  There is MRI improvement for the first time, but his short term memory is really poor and we are not sure if it's due to the location of tumors or radiation or a combo of both.  The NO wrote a prescription for Aricept (a drug that helps Alzhimers' patients).  It comes with its own list of side effects and I worry with the vascular issues that Avastin causes.  Has anyone been prescribed this drug and found it helpful?

I don't know about meds but Rob has had some memory problems with radaition. He is currently in week 5.  My husbands  tumor is oligo in l frontal lobe. I guess it depends on how bad memory loss is to worry.  I thinking it bad since the doctors are perscribing meds.  Good luck and I pray that there are better treatments and cures for all of us.

I'd bet it was the radiation as well...  WBR really hurt my husband...  :(

Is your dad still on the Novocure device?
