Hi Annice, are you there.

My mom just got diagnosed with lung cancer couple months ago. she is on tarceva too. She is a non smoker 75 year old mom. I am looking forward to hearing good news in this storm...

Hi,

After being on Tarceva 150 mg for over two years, I have progression.  A biopsy showed the T790M mutation, and I am currently awaiting approval for the new drug,Tagrisso, which I hope will come within the week.

Tarceva treated my well, the longest lasting side-effect was skin dryness.  I hope the new med will keep the cancer at bay until a cure is found for this awful disease.

I have been on Tarceva for a month. I'm coping...just...with the rash..EXCEPT my eye lids and just below my eyes are driving me insane. But i have refrained from scratching.I use a moisturiser ..Sorbelenerecommended to me by Oncology nurse. I am finding that I have to use this about every 10-15mins as skin is drying out so fast, bit depressing to be honest...perhaps there is something better than Sorbelene??

My wife (now 43) was treated with Tarceva 150 mgs. for her NSCLC stage llA EGFR+ gene mutation.

The Tarceva was prescribed to her as final clean sweep to starve off any and all cancer that could be attached or floating in her body.

She started Tarceva on 11-9-15 and finished it on 11-9-16. A full year to the date.  Anyone taking Tarceva please stick with the daily regime.

Taking Tarceva my wife experienced lots of daily diarrhea, wieght loss, skin rashes, a little acne, skin dryness, some slight hair loss.

One of the best products she was prescribed for skin rashes was :  ELIDEL (pimecrolimus) Cream 1%

It worked absolutely wonders for her, eliminating the skin rashes and acne. She still needed to use skin moisturizing lotion for the dryness.  The Elidel cream was just exclusive to just rashes and acne.

Be well out there everone.

I'm sending caregiver love to all!

Pete...
