Hyperthermia - Uterine Cancer (Metastasized)

Hi, my mom was diagnosed with Stage 4 uterine cancer April 2011. She was on a trial at Duke and was removed from the trial in 2012 because Avastin was causing her platelets to drop.  She was then placed on a breast cancer pill form drug (can't remember the name).  She had a CT last week and found out on Thursday that her cancer has metastasized into her lymph nodes.  The dr is giving her 2 infusions of taxil and carbo (the big guns).  If those don't work, thats it (is what they are saying).  This cancer is moving quickly....therefore she is very strongly considering going to Hallwang in Germany for hyperthermia.  Has anyone ever heard of this, had results, and/or been there?  Any info is greatly appreciated.

Actually, there is a cancer center in California called Bicher Cancer Institute.  They offer an integrative therapy that is FDA approved (so most insurance covers it) and it combines low-dose *tumor specific* radiation, with high-dose ultrasound hyperthermia.  Germany does full body hyperthermia, but I've heard many people that have already had other traditional therapies become quite ill from it.  That's not the case with the tumor-specific hyperthermia ... it hits the tumor and surrounding area, so the rest of the body remains uneffected by the heat.  It's painless and produces not only remission, but cure, for the majority of individuals.  You will need to call to make sure your mom is a candidate, but if it were me, I would do this prior to trying the Taxil and Carbo!, as these drugs may weaken her system too much for her to be able to effectively take the radiation/hyperthermia treatments.  Personally, I know of six stage 4 head and neck patients that are "cured", two stage 4 breast cancer patients, one with metastasis to the liver, that are "cured", one stage 4 brain cancer patient "cured", one rectal cancer patient "cured" and the list goes on!

It doesn't work for everyone, but the success rate statistics are much, much higher than any other treatment I've investigated.

Also, (on an entirely different note) there is a form of medical marijuana called Rick Simpson Oil that is AMAZING! There's a video called "Run From the Cure" that discusses this ... you can watch it on YouTube.  There are also many YouTube videos that show individuals that cured their cancer with the oil.  One thing to consider with this is that the US Government actually holds patents on Cannabinoids (the medical quality of marijuana) and they describe the endocannabinoid system of the human body and how cannabinoids POSITIVELY affect many debilitating, life threatening illnesses.

Keep the faith and remember that God is the greatest physician ... and He's available 24/7 :-)  I will keep you, your mom and your families in my healing thoughts and prayers!!

Sending a hug and smile your way,
Dr. Tamara :-)

Ralph Moss of Cancer Decisions, who I mostly trust, in general writes in favor of hyperthermia. However, I have also heard that if such treatments do not cure one, they may help create "shock" proteins in cancer cells that protect the cancer cells against other treatments...something you should ask about when talking to a hyperthermia practitioner.
