hi, its a long ime since you were in remission 206-209, i hope u are still well, and coping, i am very interested, to hear from any cancer patient that has used the intravenous vit c. as there is so much on the net. and gets confusing. from my readings it seems the way to go, but there is not enough knowledge in the UK. how do u get it done, whom, were, etc. rules of using intravenous methods etc. Here the basis of knowledge is money orientated.

I am looking for knowledge to base decisions on, whom and were is outmost importance of course. Drs seem not to have the knowledge, or its financial decision based on their own interests. I have certainly seen from patients views in that it gives many benefits for remission and recovery in some instances.  Are their rules on admiistering, can a nurse do it at home, or is it clinics only. I hope all u cancer patients out their enpower yourselves to fight your illnesses. I have 18 family members deceased in four years, from different cancers.. I am sure that vit c is the way to go.  KInd regards and best wishes to you all out there and your families. never give up have hope and be strong. best wishes to u all.

Hi. I just read your message about the iv vit C. I have been diagnosed with anaplastic cancer which does not respond to chemotherapy or radiation. I have been on a clinical trial which has been unsuccessful. I recentely have been on IV vit C daily for a month and IV ALA for three weeks and LDN orally. My dr wants to put me on a maintenance program of oral ala with the LDN and only do the Vit C on a lower dose once a week. Im concerned that with the cancer still spreading rapidly that I would need to be on a higher dose and be doing IV therapy every day. What is your oppinion on this matter and do you recommend any other treatments that have been successful with you. What oncologist did you use? When I am taking the high dose Vit C by IV it shoots my blood sugar over 500...did you have this problem?

Thank you, Melissa

Hi Marian,

I`m glad to hear that you are recovering.I had breast cancer stage 2, grade 3. After lumpectomy and chemo, I took high dose IV vit.C 75 gm for 4 months(twice a week).Through DITI(digital thermal infra red) scans, both my breast showed remarkably healthy and within normal limits.I`m still taking IV vit C once a month  and scanning  anually.I feel great now and of course strict diet to avoid overweight. My bones and other organs are clear. Thank God I found the alternative way to cure. Do try!......Ida

Hi Susha  My name is Ann and I live in Pennsylvania.  I have GCT of the ovary.  I had a hysterectomy in 2007 and did 4 sessions of chemo BEP ( on her advice not quesioning anything) at McGee Womans Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.  Now in 2009 I have a reaccurence of about 4 small tumors.  Now I don't know if your cancer is the same as mine because GCT is the rare one.  They say it dosen't seem to spread thru the lymph systems and it usually stays in the abdomen.  I talked to a surgeon and he said to wait until the tumors get bigger and then he will operate.  Sort of watchful waiting.  I don't want anymore chemo because recently I have learned it is not effective for this type of cancer.  When I had my reaccurence my first doctor wanted me back on chemo asap however, I learned from talking with women on this site about the chemo not being effective.  Although I know a lot of women took it.  I was wondering where you live and where did you get the Vit. C IV?  I don't know if we can get it in PA  Ann.

You may even be able to get Vit C Iv's at Cancer Treatment Centers of America.  I don't know where in PA you are but there are surely other places.  I have stage IV breast ca with mets on my bones, given 6 months 4 1/2 years ago...  You do EVERYTHING you can and feel appropriate.  I receive Vit C Iv's and follow a supplement program, keep sugar OUT of my diet.

My understanding is that the Vit C Iv is more effective than orally.  Iv supposedly impacts your tissues and kills cancer cells.  If nothing else it gives your body the strength it needs to do the traditional stuff and get through it.

If you can't find anyone in your area and are still interested i can ask others here.  Check out Knock Out by Suzanne Somers.  She has recommendations on Drs in different states.

Best Wishes.  Never give up!

I get vitamin c therapy in augusta, GA.  You might want to search for an Infusion Medical center in birmingham and ask them.  If not, augusta is about 4 hours from Birmingham, AL.
