I am so sorry to hear your news, it can be frustrating, overwhelming and put much fear in your mind.

You need to take time to let it all sink in and not to act before you have time to think. Make sure you get second opinions and third if you need. Consider all your options and know there are options out there. It depends on what the actual diagnosis is, what the details are that will help you make a decision. If you need help or more info there is a lot of info on jesichashope.org , explains a lot and might help you.

First, calm down. Take a deep breath. You don't say what stage you are in. There are many treatment options available. You need to be informed and make your decisions based on the information that you are given

Hi Candyapple19 - yes it is a shock and I was the same way for over 6 months.  I am so sorry you have to go through this.  My Oncologist is older than me and I see the fear in her face with this epidemic.  She even said to me it is not a matter of if she gets breast cancer but when.  I was kinda shocked to hear that.  All women know someone close to them and it puts the fear closer.  We now walk in the same shoes as you and understand completely your fears and anxieties.  It is all part of the shock of the diagnosis.  Get many opinions and take time to think of what works best for you to.  You are still in control.  I look back since my DX in Jan 2013 and it is all a blur.  I am a nurse and use to being the advocate not the patient.  It is awful at times.  Best wishes and keep us posted.

Oh my, run and find out about the laser breast cancer surgery. Please if you love yourself find an IPT chemo doctor that sends your blood to Greece.  Its expensive but living is the result.  Standard of care doctors tried to 'scare' me into staying with them.  In the rooms with the horrific women that are fading from life.  It takes guts and focus to get through this.  I did and it is all in my book which I will gladly send to you free.

I just want women to not have pain, loss of hair and puke for no reason.   If the doctor does not do the Greek blood test then you are in danger.  I will fax or email you a copy of mine if you like. They just don't do it here in the USA. THE ONCOL IS NOT A GREAT TEST. It says little to help you.

Logic and your little voice will let you know what is good and what is bad. Dr. Forsythe or Dr. Winkler are the only ones I know that CURE.

You are right. Take it upon yourself to save your life. What we get in the states is what is allowed, not because everything else is no good but because it does not make the profits. Sadly we are forced to accept inferior care so others can profit. Cancer patients here are the sacraficial lambs.

I know of other places as well that can do more because they positioned themselves just over the border so the FDA can say nothing but the patients can get cured. IPT is one treatment, hyperthermia, hyperbaric, and a lot more. Life is priceless and you have to keep yourself from being sacraficed.
