We received the CT results for my father-in-law yesterday. The tail tumor is about 3cm and they did see microscopic cells in his lungs. They stated those were too small to biopsy. He is scheduled for a pancreatic biopsy on Thursday. They stayed that since it was found somewhere else he was not a candidate for surgery and it was automatically a Stage 4. We are just so broken-hearted. We were so hoping for better news and would still love to find someone who would be willing to help and not give up.

Sorry to hear this, I had heard that if it was found in the tail, the person has a better chance. It just sucks that it's found in other areas. Keep hope alive, god has the last say so. God bless.

I am so sorry you did not receive the news you were hoping for.  Please don't give up -- your father-in-law needs you now more than ever.  I know--believe me, I know--how hard it is, but try as best as you can to remain positive and hopeful and to live in the moment.  Let us know how the biopsy goes.
