Susan, I have been taking Faslodex shots since January. The only problem I have had is I am also on chemo (Navelbine) and when I get chemo and the shot on the same day, I am really dizzy on and off for the next couple of days. We started breaking them up and I think I'm better off that way. Unfortunetly, my tumor markers are not going down, as my Dr. hoped they would on Faslodex. I was on Tamoxifin, Arimidex, and Aromisen before Faslodex. The shot does hurt going in, but its only once a month. I hope it helps you get better...Barb

Hi, I just read your message of 7-02. I have been on Faslodex for about 9 months because of bone mets. My tumor marker keeps elevating. I am having no symptoms, I feel fine with no aches or pains. I am to have another bone scan in July to see if I have any further involvement. I think my doctor is thinking about putting my on another pill. I had great results with Arimidex, lowering of tumor marker, but wonder if I have no symptoms if Faslodex will eventually show positive reults. Did you have good results with your Faslodex treatments? I would be appreciative of any information you could share with me. Jane B.

Hi Susan, I am Surprised how few message boards and patients show up on line who are on Faslodex. I have been on Faslodex every four weeks since November 2011. I have been getting more and more SE. my latest problems are: extreme sciatica pain, injection site pain, lumps under 5he skin, and other problems r3lated to my spinal st3nosis. I believe that that the monthly injections have ascerbated my spinal problems. Nurses are supposed to inject into buttocks carefully missing sciatica nerves. But I don’t thinkk they have been. Now , I can’t walk. My right leg has beeen freezing up w/muscle contractions and excruciating pain, as soon as I stand up for more than5 minutes. It collapses, and I fall. HAS ANYONE ELSE EXPERIENCED THIS??? I have been on it for 7 & half years. Swagme

Hi! Your post was long ago also. How are you doing? Are you still on Faslodex? I would be very interested to know. Perhaps this board is not very popular. Should I try a different one?
