Thank you. My husband has gone down to a horrible low weight. The depression didn't help nor the trip to the ER to make sure he didn't have pneumonia. He's eating a little and sucking on ice to keep hydrated and his throat open. Working one teaspoon at a time.  Prayers to you in your journey.

Amie, Your husband needs to have chemo and radiation treatment. You and your children want him around for a long time! I am an extremely healthy 52 year old woman. I had chemo/ radiation last Dec/Jan for stage 3 EC. I had a complete response to treatment! I still had surgery in March which was totally successful. I am back to work and truly feel great. I swim, hike and bike. I still have my hair and my nails were never stronger than during chemo treatment. The recommendation to stop herbal and vitamin treatment isn't because they may enhance cancer growth, but rather they can inhibit the full effects of the treatment. The treatment works! There are so many bloggers on this site that will attest to this. He can cleanse his body of the necessary toxins after treatment. I am sending healing and peaceful thoughts!

I am a four year survivor of EC. I tell you that you should do what your Oncologist recommends. You may Also do diet and natural remedies. I did.

Chemo and Radiation killed my cancer. I was also operated on and the biopsy was negative.

Don't try to fight EC yourself with just diet and naturals.

get some indian vegetarian  recipe books. Load up on the green veg.  make meals tasy with herbs & spices - try toasting cumin & corienader & fennel seeds, & crush with pestel & mortar - makes anything tasty.. Pack in some concentrated doses by juicing wheatgrass & kale, and adding some lemon to take the edge off the taste.  Eat fruit, don't juice it. Supplemenmts will do limited good... tablets with dried  "minerals'  and "vitamins" etc do not compare with fresh food.
