Possible Carcinoid Syndrome?

Well Ive been having severe chronic diahrrea (many ER trips from dehydration), flushing, episodic wheezing, etc for about a year. I had two 5 HIAA done- one was 4.8, the other 986.6 (normal under 6). My Endo felt I likely have Carcinoid Syndrome and ordered a OctreoScan. I saw the radiology report that will be sent to my Endo and it said there was no uptake to indicate a carcinoid tumor but noted a 2.0x 1.4 cm "Soft tissue nodule anterior to the left liver lobe. Given the similar density to the liver, this could represent an exophytic malformed portion of the left liver lobe. Non Octreoscan avid neuroendocrine tumor or lymphadenopathy is also considered but less likely. Followup contrast-enhanced hepatic MRI could be obtained for further characterization."

Im waiting for my Endo to get the report and make a treatment decision but what does this mean? Will Carcinoid be ruled out? Or does that soft tissue liver nodule mean its a likely diagnosis considering my labs and symptoms?
