My brother was just diagnosed with kidney cancer and lung cancer. The kidney cancer was diagnosed from a lesion taken out of his brain and the lung cancer was diagnosed from a mass taken out of his trachea. Has anyone ever heard of someone being diagnosed with two seperate kinds of cancer?

Yes. This happens more than you think. Big Ang who stared on Mob Wives, just passed away with stage four lung, brain and throat cancer. I hope they caught it early and treatments will be effective. I have had stage four kidney cancer for over four years and I'm still doing fine.

Renal can er can start in tge kidney and spread to other organs and parts of the body.  Frequent sites are lungs, liver brain, and bone with less frequently thyroid, esophagus and others.  Might all be the same or different cancers.  Biopsy is only way to know for sure.
