Plavix and leukemia

My husband took plavix for 3 years and had a cerebral hemorrhage and was diagnosed with aml leukemia. He passed away 7 weeks after he was diagnosed. If you know of anyone who was diagnosed with aml leukemia after taking plavix please contact me. It is more than a coincidence. Many people have had this happen yet lawyers are only focusing on the bleeding. This drug needs to be off the market.

I was put on Plavix following MI with stent and angioplasty in 2006. I remained on it for three year plus before d/cing it in late 2009 or maybe in 2010. I was diagnosed with CML (Philadelphia positive) on Dec 19. 2012 after progressively showing symptoms throughout the previous six to eight months. It wasn’t AML, but close. I’ve often wondered about a connection. My email is scottrodo@aol.com

My husband also took Plavix for 3 years and was diagnosed with AML January 17th of 2019 and passed away April 4th, 2019.  At the time of his death I was told it had crossed into full Leukemia.  I also think it was the Plavix since it is designed to affect the platelets.  Have you gotten many other responses?  Found out anything else?

I think there is definitely something going on with Plavix and Leukemia.  I am going to notify the FDA.  They request people taking a medication report any negative side effects they develop.  I'll find the number and let you know it.  Maybe we can see how many people taking it will report it.
