My husband Charles has stage 4 prostate cancer that has moved to his bones. Do you think your tomato soup therapy might help him. I'm very interested in it if you think it might help. Please let me know.

Thanks, Mary K. From Arlington Texas

Cancer is something that people just don't want to talk about. I know this from my relatives and friends. My wife is also terrified whenever I talk about it, expects me to die any day now, although I am healthy as a horse.  I don't seem to get anywhere discussing it ratiounally with anyone I know, except other guys I know who have cancer.  But everyone is different regarding cancer so nobody seems to understand anyone else.

You might want to try the tomato soup therapy I have been using. I also have metastized prostate cancer which seems to go to bone at some times, lymph nodes at other times. The tomato soup seems to kill the cancer cells.  Not sure it would help you though, depending on the stage of your cancer at this point in time.  Let me know if you are interested.

I do believe it can help.  In my case I was under hormone therapy at the same time that I consumed a lot of lycopenes.  The hormone therapy slows the disease, no question.  The lycopenes activate t-cells to kill cancer cells.  That is my belief.  However, I am not certain that it helps as much under conditions of normal testosterone levels.  Also there is some question about effectiveness with everyone.  Bottom line I am quite certain it helps, although there are a few important things that must be done.  First, it needs to be heated to release the lycopenes.  Second, it needs vegetable oil to get into bloodstream.  Third, it needs to be consumed frequently, as it only works while it is in the upper intestine, for several hours.  So with those conditions, I do believe it shrinks prostate cancer tumors wherever they may be.

In my experience, the most effective method seems to be about a half cup of canned tomato soup, with added ingredients fried in olive oil, (chopped garlic, jalepeno green part, chopped onion, black pepper, curry powder, paprika, garlic salt, and other  prostate cancer killing foods such as bittermelon, ginger, rosemary, and others), heated and mixed with water per instructions on can. This will lactivate immune system t-cells which then go about the body searching and destroying cancer cells and other bad things.   It seems to work only while in the small intestine, so it starts working after about half an hour, and continues for four to six hours.  Then best consume another half-cup.

Some cancer cells seemconcurrent  to  grow faster than others, eventually requiring more frequent intake.  I first discovered this two years ago and four times per day seemed to eliminate a bone cancer on my tailbone, (with hormone therapy).  I am currently consuming approximately every three hours because my cancer seems to have mutated to a very fast grower.  The soup eliminates the pain of tumor growth and over time, eliminates the tumors.

Since it is not always convenient to  make soup, like when travelling, I have found alternatives which seem to work quite well, although not quite as well as the soup.  I have found the most palatable solution to be guava nectar.  Also tomato or V8 juice.  Furthermore, spaghetti sauce is as effective as the tomato soup, with pasta. There are other solutions but they are not so practical.  Let me know if any questions.

Thanks Mike (tomatoman/lycopeneliker)

We started trying the tomato remedy you suggested to us. But it put my husband in the hospital, cause he also has Congestive Heart Failure & he has a restriction on his liquid intake. We was so excited to be trying something that just might work for him, we both forgot about the liquid restriction. But we both want to thank you for trying to help him. Thank you Mike.

So sorry about that. Maybe you could use sun dried tomatoes or possibly dehydrate the soup or V8.  Also possibly lycopene capsules and powder as supplement.

I have read that lycopene by itself is not as effective as tomato products.  i have not tried lycopene capsules so I don't know if they work.  However, the reason COULD BE due to the absorption problem.  To maximize absorption the lycopenes need to be cooked in some way, and consumed with oil.  The lycopene capsules by themselves would therefore be less effective if not heated and taken with oil.  This MIGHT be overcome by putting in hot water like tea or coffee with small amount of oil.  I would add a vitamin D capsule to the coffee or tea also.  Vitamin D also is dependent on oil for absorption.  (Vitamins A and E also are taken with oil.)  Vitamin overdoses, however, should be avoided, so be careful with them.

Hi,

Glad to be able to talk with you. I also was diagonosed with stage 4 about 2 years ago and was given 1-3 years. Obviously they were wrong. My urologist/oncologist has been very agressive in my treatment and I feel pretty good

I have been able  to talk to my wife and children and they know that I am living on borrowed time. My PSA is starting to take off again, doubled from dec to jan, almost doubled from jan to feb, etc. It appears that my hormone meds (Xtandi) are not working as well as they did. Friends and family visit from across the country which perks up my spirits while they are here.

Drop me a line and say what's on your mind.

Hang in there.
