PEG tube pain

My wife had a PEG tube placed due to gastroesophageal cancer.  Her gastroesophageal juncture is 90% closed off and cannot eat solid food, except for very liquid stuff.  She had the PEG tube placed around October 4th.  She is having this strange pain-like cramping in the left side of heer stomach.  She describes it like if a person was pulling on a large syring to create a negative pressure and all of a sudden releases the pressure and it pops and that pop causes the pain.  Last night was the worse it has been.  She cvould not sleep,  I fed her through the tube around 5 pm yesterday and she had nausea afterwards and pain.  Even now, today at 8 am she still has nausea and the pain.  Has anyone experienced this type of pain accompanied by nausea.  I just don't know what to do for her.  I am taking her into urgent care this morning.

yasun,

I am sorry to read that your wife is dealing with this discomfort. Please let us know what you learn from urgent care.

How exactly are you feeding her thru the PEG Tube? there are a couple of methods in doing this. Is the food/ nutrition room temperature before going into her stomach?

My Best to Both of You and Everyone Here
