My wife's journey has ended

She passed away just over a week ago.  She had the codeletions, and every reason to believe that she'd be a long-term survivor.  Yet she didn't even make it to the average life expectancy.  Seven years after diagnosis, she succumbed to oligodendroglioma.

She was a wonderful woman with a beautiful soul.

My wife and I are so very sad to hear about your lovely wife's passing after so many years with her battle against oligodendroglioma.  I see from your posts that you two were sweethearts from a long time ago.

I hope the many good times and loving memories will help you to carry on with your life with her at your side as your guiding light and shinig star.

Warmest Regards,

Chuck & Noriko

My heartfelt sympathy for you and your family jefuchs, my father passed away yesterday as a result of complications arising from a Grade 4 Astrocytoma (GBM) after a tough and emotionally taxing 25 month fight, so I can understand just how you feel. May she rest in peace.

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's horrible when things go downhill like that , especially when the docs point to all the favorable prognostic factors. May she rest in peace and may eternal light shine upon her.
