PopPop and Arman,

OK, I am contacting the management, I think.  We'll see how it goes.

Hi Susan, Just curious if you were able to contact the management about this.

Here is another example of the same issue.

I noticed this because Bugsy and I are freinds on this forum but it never shows up on the header of "head and neck Cancer"

Thanks

I have used fiefox but just logged in with chrome and have the same issue.

Susan, I believe the problem is the actual web site.

I see that you responded to the lady in the above link, which clearly states that it is under head and neck cancer section, yet for whatever reason it does not appear under this section.

It sounds like a buggy web site.

here is an example of how new new comers log into this site for support and you can not  see it under the main head and neck cancer section.

https://cancercompass.com/message-board/message/all,138487,0

I happend to notice it on the left side of the main screen when users post questions.

The web master needs to address these issues if they intend to keep this site relevant.

The site may be active but there is no activity at all.

I went through treatment 5 years ago and this site was a great source of support and information for me. I wish lack of activity was the result of less people being diagnosed with this beast but seriously doubtful.

RE: Tonsil cancer

Danny,

Many of us with Tonsil cancer have no symptoms before being diagnosed with cancer except an enlarged lymph node.

It is not cancer until they say it is cancer.

good luck and I hope you do not need to join this exclusive club.

I agree.  There seems to be less postings on this sit than 5 years ago when I 1st joined. Hopefully, it is due to less newcomers into this exclusive club.

Bugsy and I started treatment at the same time 4 1/2 years ago. Like Bugsy, I was also diagnosed with T2N1M0 with primary in the right tonsil SCC HPV+. I had surgery to remove the tonsil followed by 6 1/2 weeks of IMRT.  I considered Proton therapy but was recommended against it. I was told by the surgeon that Proton therapy is most effective when dealing with a solid tumor and that was not the case with me. I am doing great 4 1/2 years post treatment and other than some dry mouth and a bit of neck spasm from time to time, very much back to normal.
