    SMP, I know exactly how you feel about feeling lonely. You can vent to me anytime . I live in the New Bern North Carolina area. If you live close we could get together and talk. Hopefully one day soon the doctors will wake up and do something for the Head and Meck Cancer survivors !! To live a halfway normal life again would be wonderful for my husband and me.       My husband has the same problem. He has been on a peg tin for years and still asperates. His epiglottis does not close his windpipe off correctly so he can not eat anything by mouth. We are looking everywhere to see if his epiglottis can be fix but come up empty with all the doctors we have seen. Our lives are hell because of head and neck cancer.         Hope your father is doing well. My husband has been cancer free for 18 years now But he, like your father is on a peg tube. It has been very difficult living a so called normal life since his epogllotis has been hardened. He has been in the hospital many times because of aspiration. His quality of life basically sucks !
