Good for you! I'm glad you found such happiness! I am 17 years past my vulvectomy and 6 years past my 2nd surgery, laser. I tell women going through this that once everything is all healed, sex is not only possible, it is important! It increases blood flow to the vulva, connects you more with your significant other. Makes you feel alive with endorphins. I am fortunate with my hubby. He is the best person I know and ...

There aren't many women who can stand the pain of Aldara (Immunoquid) cream. Including myself. It's been some time ago but I know it burned like hell fire! It was more painful than my laser surgery!

Can you get a 2nd opinion? I'd sure get one if you can. This is a disease you can't ignore. I can't imagine my gyn blowing me off like that.  I was diagnosed with VIN III/CIS in February 2001. I had a vulvectomy 4 days later on Valentine's Day, hubby and I were so scared we didn't even think what day it was! I had biopsies every 3 months to every 6 months after that and gyn found more VIN III/CIS in 2012. I had...

Yay!! I hope the Premarin cream takes care of ALL of the pain. Blood flow is very important for us vulvar ladies! I can't remember how long the pain lasted with me. It's been a long time! (2001 and 2012) I do remember having to wear skirts for a while. I was a vet tech wearing skirts with my scrub tops. Really sexy! Lol! I have my annual next month. Praying that I don't see (FEEL!!) that damn needle any time soon! ...
