  So sorry to hear about your husband and yourself.  Any kind of cancer is scary stuff.  I had cyberknife treatment for lung cancer in 2007 and I am still here.  It started in 2002 when I had my upper right lobe surgically removed and the Dr found a small lesion in the lower right lobe.  I know your husband has a brain tumor, but in my case, there were  no ill effects from the cyberknife treatm...

  If you have been diagnosed with chronic bronchitis without the fever and mucous but been prescribed Levaquin, which can make you ill,  be on guard.  Ask your physician for a ct scan or at the very least a chest x-ray.  That happened to me in 2002, and if it weren't for a smart dr in the er room who kept me there a few days for tests,  I probably would not be here today.  Don't take no for an ...

   I guess I am one of the lucky ones.  In 2002, I was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma of the upper right lung.  After that was surgically removed and pronounced clear,  I then came down with squamous cell lung cancer in the lower right of the same lung,  that was treated with cyberknife in 2007.  According to the doctor,  I have been stable (thank goodness).  I am a non-smoker, so...

  Well, that's just great!  I have just been diagnosed with the beginnings of macular degeneration, and my opthomologist prescribed special vitamins for that ailment, which have very high doses of vitamins A,C, and E.  What am I supposed to do now?

  My father had throat cancer after a lifetime of heavy smoking.   It helps to have support of family and friends.  Just try to get through each day as best you can.  If possible, get some fresh air, watch funny tv programs and movies, when weather permits, grow some veggies, buy a bird feeder.  All of those things helped Dad cope.  He had to have his voice box removed so he talked like Da...

  I had lung cancer in 2002 and another type of lung cancer in 2007 (yes, there is more than one type), AND I am a non-smoker!  When I came down with the 2nd one, it was too small to biopsy, so they did a pet scan.  It didn't show any cancer, but the nodule continued to grow very, very slowly, until, after two years, it finally got to 1 cm, at which time they did a biopsy.  During the intervening tw...
