Hello you wonderful people out there. My road at the moment has had quite a few pot holes in it of latw so my chances of writing have been few. I'm sorry Lucy I didn't get to see you before you went to Rarotonga but I was in hospital feeling rather sorry for my self. I have had another stent put into my duodenum and am now on a special low fibre diet. I've been in and out of hospital and hospice so it has been a litt...

Hi Lucy and everyone, Just letting you know I'm in hospital with severe pain to my right side and vomiting. Came in last Monday, went home on Friday but came back in again on Friday evening with another bout of severe pain. Not sure what is causing the pain but hopefully they'll find out soon. Of course, the morphine is causing major constipation which is not helping me either. Hope you are all keeping well especial...

Dearest Lucy, I am glad you are going to see your gastric bypass surgeon. It will at least give you an answer as to why you are feeling so nauseated, wether it be the bypass or the liver resection that is causing it. I'm going for my Rife treatment today. Do you want the lady's information? If so I will gladly give it to you. Don't worry about what you here about the chemo, I had 4 months of Cisplatin and Gemcitab...

I'm sorry your family have not been so supportive for you, maybe they are struggling with the enormity of your situation and are not coping well themselves. I'm not doing too bad thanks Lucy. I have a little pain that comes and goes between my shoulder blades and at the bottom of both sides of my stomach by my ribs. Not bad enough to warra...

lucynz Hi Libby, pain is basically all.gone except when I rake leaves or something that causes the right side to hurt, I'm having terrible dining enough, and also eating as must things make me nauseous, I'm told I need to drink at least 2 liters a day on chemo, which I can't do, so I may not go ahead and do.chemo but obviously will.talk to the oncologist first before I decide. Cheers Lucy

Hi Kathy, I'm glad to hear that George is feeling fantastic. You have a wonderful time overseas and good luck with your contacts in America- I'm very envious as I've only been to Australia. Tell George to remain positive and strong and I'll be thinking of you. Big hugs Libby :-)

Dearest Lucy, I am so sorry you have received such news but its not all bad - it has not spread to a major organ. Don't let yourself get down, you must draw strength from within and try and stay positive! It is very important that you do so because the mind is a very strong and powerful thing and can help to heal. I don't think they will give you chemo until you are feeling a bit stronger. I had 6 cycles of chemo...

Hello, my name is Libby and I am 55 years old and have gallbladder cancer which has gone into my liver and bile ducts. The doctors say it is unoperatable and have put me on palliative chemo and have given me around a year to live. I didnt really have any symptoms except for tiredness and an uncomfortable bloated feeling on the top right hand side of my stomach.
I am not about to give up on myself as I have too much to live for. I would love to hear from any gallbladder stage 3/4 survivors and what you have done to help yourselves. Look forward to chatting with you.
