Vietnam Veteran Agent Orange

by RFreeman - December 28 at 2:44 AM

I was just diagnosed Dec.10th with esophagus cancer stage 2, I'm 68 yrs. old. I served in Vietnam boots on the ground 1969-1971 2 tours and currently 100% disable with coronary artery disease, type 2 diabetes, PTSD, and a few other problems all related to Agent Orange Exposure, I know Esophagus Cancer is not listed but I'm filling a claim anyway hoping it will be accepted if not now maybe one day, I just had my appointments with the surgeon, oncology, and radiation, based on my current health I'm not able to undergo surgery, radiation said they would try for 2 weeks and my survival is a year, I meet with the onco Dr. And with my current health I feel that I cannot withstand the Chemo with all the affects it will bring on and my survival outcome won't change, I saw my mother 3 years ago go thru chemo and it destroyed her physicaly she would have been better off not doing nothing, and the same with my foster son and my father in law went thru the same suffering. so I have decided I'm going to go thru this and live the rest of my life the best that I can and be with my family to the end with out all the extra sickness brought on thru chemo and radiation, and just trust in Jesus to get me thru this to the end.
