Have you tried to order it online from Canada? In my case it definitely brought up significantly more spots than what the Dr was concerned about. I did my forehead, side of face and nose and it lit up like a Christmas tree. Didn't have any significant pain to be honest. I will def do it again for the lower part of my face given how my upper face reacted. If you react badly on the cream, use Cortizone ointment, not ...

There is another thread running on this site regarding different treatment protocols for Efudex especially for those with ongoing issues, high risk etc. Some are doing it 1x PW for a year for apparently the same effect with none of the redness, iritation of the intensive treatment protocol. One person who was high risk was prescribed to use it 1x PW for the rest of their life

I did 2x per day for 21 days, had a significant response and had very little systemic affect on my body. In fact, I had watched dozens of videos, was prepared for significant discomfort and in the end mostly it just felt like a sunburn apart from a few days where I had itchiness etc. Also I see no point in not treating the side effects of the cream which is dermatitis during the treatment phase. You dont need to put...

Just wondering how it is going? Do you apply twice a day once per week or just a single time on that day? Do you get slowly more red over time or can't notice it?

Day 16, spoke to a pharmicist who was very happy with the reaction I was getting. Told me to back off on certain areas including my nose to avoid getting ulceration. All I have is a feeling of very mild sunburn on my forehead. Its not bothering me in any way at all. Hopefully that continues and will reasses at day 21

So I am into day 12 and have had a good response which means I look a bit frightening. Around day 6 I started to get spots appearing on my forehead as well as the few expected spots on the side of my face, my nose and forehead.Over the next couple of days the redness increased and the skin got a little tender. Since day 7 the response has inscreased in area and redness each day. Around day 9 I woke up about 3am wit...

Just wondering how you went combining the Efudex with cortico-steroid cream?

Great thread! I’m on day 3 of 2x per day Efedix 5% to forehead, nose and side of face to below sideburns and like most, got very little direction from the doctor who prescribed it. She never suggested a follow up appointment or even any interest in seeing me after the treatment. She wrote down apply for 2 or 4 weeks then crossed out the “or 4 weeks” I guess I will go for two and see what happens. ...
