      I've been using triamcinolone (a corticosteroid ointment) for a lovely, itchy rash that accompanied the swelling from water retention that was side effect of me drinking too much liquid after radiation treatment. My doctor said only other time he'd seen this phenomena was with alcoholics that consume a case of beer or more a day. LOL Heck, since I could not eat, I continued to drink as much liquid as I could so that...

        I started radiation treatments (neck and mouth) in June. I had extensive excision in my mouth again (for the umpteenth time) and modified radical neck (34 nodes removed on one side) on March 29. After 25-26 treatments, (I won't go into problems or issues that cropped up....they're all fairly "normal" and effect us all to varying degrees) I was told that "angles" would be reduced from 18 to on...

          I found an aloe vera containing salve/cream on Amazon...called California Baby. After trying several different creams containing aloe vera (and that dreaded useless Eucherin "vaseline" the Cancer Center recommended), I found California Baby to give me the most relief. I am still using it now (after "burn" is gone) for dry skin...even on my face and I have extremely sensitive skin.
