Hello Yes, I am a stage 3 colon cancer survivor. 5 years this week. I went through the FOLFOX treatment. 12 treatments once every 2 weeks. Had the neoropathy in hands, feet, wore gloves near refrigerator. No cold foods either. Yes, treatment was hard but I sucked it up and took it all.  For past 5 years I got a colonoscopy every year. Dr. found polyps but all benign. Had CAT scans every year as well. All ok. Th...

A good friend of mine is being treated for stage 2+ Breast cancer. She had one lymph node with cancer cells in it. To be safe, they took both breasts. She had inplants put in at that time. Do not rely on those other tests. Have a colonoscopy done. it really is easy to do. The prep is the only bad thing. Best way to do it.. the day BEFORE the day before...eat light...then the day of prep it won't be so explosive.  Just saying.......

Every 2 weeks I did this along with the fanny pack meds for 46 hours after each regular treatme...

no. pain is still with me.  I will be seeing my oncologist this coming wednesday for a check up. Maybe he can do something for the pain.  I had cataract surgery this past summer. and my hearing has diminished over time..  Family doctor thinks that possibly my estrogen/testosterine levels are out of whack. so will see.

Found this site via google. I have been having joint and muscle pain after receiving 12 Folfox treatments in 2014.  I was diagnosed with stage 3 colonrectal cancer and had resection done in June of 2014.  Chemo started the 1st of July and was over in December of 2014. I took all the treatments. Was really nasty but did it.  Last year as I was attempting to get back to normal I noticed my shoulders, arm...
