      T1N1bM0 primary right base of tougue hpv 16 positive. MD Anderson Houston I inquired about proton thrapy and was also given the stats. I wasnt concernerd about cost just living. I was 47 when diagnosed. I was persuaded to imrt 33 treatments/no chemo I'm 2 years 4 months out of my last treatment to the day as of tomorrow and doing well exept for some of the reminders mentioned above by others if you can feel good...

            Greg i am 2 years out and still have throat issues on and off that presents different when it pops up on and off.  Sometimes nothing for weeks then something. Then nothing again I have not really noticed a pattern or anything to serious. Some minor ear pain here and there, throat pain that moves around and jaw pain below the ear at times Every time i mention doc says radiation side effects. Nothing i have go...

              Today Oct 28 marks my two year anniversary from my last treatment. Man what a ride it has been physically and emotionally/mentality etc.... Doing fine aside from dealing with occasional throat and jaw discomfort that Varies week to week. Nothing big I want to thank all the veterans on this board for all the time and wisdom they share!                   Big time congrats! I an coming up on 2 years in October and feel great. a little aaches here and there but nothing big I still worry and hesitate to make long term plans that may impact my family and kids but am moving forward 47 when diagnosed, turned 48 soon after and treated.  radiation only It is great to have people like you giving back that know what is up

                      Cardoza I too have that same pain. I had BOT right side. Radiation only to treat but have clavicle pain on my left side. Finished treatment OCT 28 2016.  It has gotten better but still comes and goes and was once pretty bad along with tightness and stiffness in sternum/chest and upper back. Still flares up though I have asked a couple of times on this board but you are the first to zero in on a the same prob...
