I too have pancreatic cancer stage four with mets to the liver.  I am currently on Gemzar and Cisplatin (like your husband).  At first I did not seem to get any aches and pains but into my 6th treatment I started getting pain in my rib area and stomach also.  I immediately thought it was because the cancer was spreading or chemo not working.  I asked the doctor and he says lots of times these are ...

Good Morning, The first treatment I received immediately after diagnosis was a chemo emobilization where they go straight to the tumor (through my groin) and cut off the main vein and inject it with chemo beads.  This was done to my tumor in the liver cause it was quite big 9cm.  I then started Gemzar and Cisplatin I am to receive 12 treatments and have had 8.  I am encouraged by your info on the surv...

Hello VAgirl2, I can so relate to what you are expressing.  I was diagnosed inDecember 2014 with PC and mets to my liver.  The first three months I spent blamig myself for every possible thing I could have done to cause this.  When I started being able to go out and run my usual errands such as grocery shopping, make payments, etc., I would get disgusted to see some people buying total junk food, were ...

Thank you for your comforting words.  It is so good to know your wife has had a good outcome with her treatments, I hope I am as lucky.  I have had a good week so far and pray that my spirit continues on a positive journey.  Every day I log on and reread the messages left for me on this site.  They are so uplifting.  Thank you once again and I will keep us all in our daily prayers!
