My lung ct with contrast showed an 8 mm spiculated nodule in the left upper lobe lingula.  There is also an atelectatic nodule and a 7mm subpleural nodule in the right lower lobe which has a plaque like appearance.  My doc has ordered a PET Scan and to say the least I am really scared. From what I find researching...spiculated nodules are usually cancer! If you have any experience with this please share you...

My daughter passed what looked like a tumor or some type of cyst/tissue vaginally.  She went to the ER and they did a transvaginal ultrasound and saw a cystic lesion - she was referred to her primary.  She saw her primary and he said the ultrasound was fine - that she had just passed a "tumor" and to come back in 6 months.  WTH? This doesn't sound right to me.

The Moffit Cancer Treatment Center has a great MM/Hematology Dept.  Dr. Baz and Dr. Alsina are two of the best at Moffitt.  I don't know about living in Tampa proper - it is a cool town but lots of crime - maybe live in a neighboring town like Lutz.

Thank you ladies....you really have made me feel better! Next Friday I go for a Nuclear Thyroid Scan.  Based on the results of that he said I may have to have a biopsy done.  Well...from what I read if you are going to have cancer...this is one of the better ones to have.  Ugh... the time between appointments feel excruciatingly long! Hugs, Amy

A follow up ultrasound of my thyroid showed hypoechoic lesions, a calcifciation, several nodules, and a goiter.  I am so scared this is Thyroid cancer : (

Okay - I feel bad about that last line.  I wish I had never started this thread.  This is a place where people with Cancer should go to learn and to support one another - not to bicker.  Maybe the key is I do not have "cancer" yet...hence I do not belong on this board.  I will not return.  God Bless of all of you - including Summerluvr and Frank. I do apologize for any hurtful words. Hugs, ...

First of all it is MGUS not MUGs. Secondly this thread started out only about the fact that I was getting a BMB.  I plan on having a nice life - I hope you plan on getting one.
