    If you do Facebook there is a group that you can "join" and discuss this with other caregivers.  I believe it is called the caregivers support group.  From my experience joining it, this group is a great online support group.  There was never a time when I posted what was bothering me at the time that there weren't several replies from people wrestling with the same issues.

      My melanoma was on my cheek, about 2mm also, found 5 years ago.  Clear margins, probably in situ, but I went with the SLN anyway, because my career was in cancer research and I was hyper-worried (well, really hypochondriacal).  The procedure is fairly simple, and I wanted to have them take a look at the two closest lymph nodes then and there, because I didn't want to worry over the next several years about ...

              Cancer can be for some people so isolating.  They just fold into themselves and no one who loves them know what to do to help them.  What works for one doesn't work for another, but there are things to try.  Finding a support group, either through a religious institution or a medical facility, may work for her.  A few of these support groups are just people and their sob stories, but most are true...
