My name is Bobby and I'm 42. I've been diagnosed in September 2008. It started with terrible bone pains. No doctor could put the right diagnose, untill I started bleeding through my nose. In the next 3 days I had my diagnose Multipple Myeloma stage 4, a week later I been admited to the hospital and then ICU with kidney falure, with protein 167!!! Doctors were shocked. Every day were wors and wors. I started my therapy with Thalidomide and many more pils, I had to take around 100 pils a day. I lost about 25 kg. And when I started to get better and stronger, in March 2009, I've done Stem Cell Transplant, only to get back to the ICU with the terrible pneumonia. I went through pneumonia 3 times since diagnosed. 2 weeks in the ICU - very critical each day- I've survived! Since then, I've been in remission. A year later I gained my weight back, I'm very active, going to gym and I'm back to play soccer twice a week. I never thought I could ever make it.
