      Hi its nearly 12 months since my husband was diagnosed with gbm4 he was given 6-12 months - no surgery was offered and after a trial we found in london just for 3 months the tumor continued growing and now we are  just waiting. i know you have been through this and wondered if you have any recommendations on sleeping at night for me and my 2 children 14 and 16 who are praying he will make it to their birthdays 2...

        Hi Jennifer i am very sorry to hear of your loss. it must be a terrible time for you and you are still kind enough to give others advice. I have been reading your reply to Chris. My  husband is going through a similar struggle 'GBM inoperable since july 2014'  Unfortunately the last couple of weeks he is having a lot more pain.           your suggestion is a very hard one for me at the moment. My head is all over the place as he is my husband and best friend for 25 years .             my husband was given 12 months in july but is now drifting off to sleep a lot even while sitting upright in the day can anybody explain this , is it a bad sign,he is on zomorph but on 40mg per day .

                thank you for all your kind replies , my husband has been on ACT 1V trial at guys and st thomas in london from september until feb this year. The trail finished because it was clearly unsuccessful because the tumor was showing to have grown 50% between December 14 and Feb 15 and after another scan last week shows it has grown another 5mm.                   August 2014 my husband 49 was diagnosed with a GBM grade 4 inoperable brain tumour. After an unsuccessful trail the hospital have given now up on him telling us the most he has is up to 6 months ! Has anyone survived this by using any alternative diets or therapy please let me know as i cant lose the love of my life and a wonderful father to my 2 teenage boys.D Desperate Mrs W
