I'm 78 and I have pancreatic cancer. I am the mother of two daughters, grandmother of 5 and great-grandmother of 3. I'm married and live in Kansas City and was diagnosed in December 2009 but started tests in September 2009 because of blood work that indicated that there was something wrong in my pancreas. I also had mild back pain on the lower right side. After consulting with the finest pancreatic surgeon in Kansas City I have opted not to have any treatment. I'm still mobil and in Hospice Care living at home with my husband, caretaker. My message is one of hope and faith.
