Hi, injalee, Thinking of you and your son! At Facebook stomach cancer warriors group, many people get TPN after surgery. Your son may need more calories to help him getting his speedy recovery. Praying!

Hi, Glitzy, Shame on those people. Everybody has true feelings and the expression of our feelings can be so different. Sometimes, I don't cry with tears, but the heart aches if the sorrow gets too extreme. It was so unfair for your so-called "friends" to make these judgments on the way of grief. Well, at times like this, you can tell whether they are your true friends or not. For us, the pri...

Sorry for this!  Please ask your sister not to give up. If she is strong enough for the chemo, the chance of fighting and winning is much  better. Most of us don't rely on statistics in this cancer journey, as only God knows how long we can live. Also, we have heard that it's more serious when the stomach cancer is spreaded to liver, but there are still survivors with liver mets. Praying for you and your s...

Carrieg55, Sorry for your bad night experiences. Praying for you and your husband! I had a similar experience on a few things you mentioned. W hen it was hard for you to wake your husband up, did you check your husband's heart rate? My husband had it at 121, and got 2 breathes /min with a rattle. So I called the homecare nurse. She suggested calling 911 because of the heart rate. Also I couldn't wake him up, so we...

Hi, mooseplm08, So sorry for your husband's passing and I felt bad to hear about the will situation. Praying for you! Hopefully you can stay strong and get the best result! My husband passed away about 3 months ago, and he had a valid will. I just went to the probate court last week. The court still needs at least another 8 months to close the case after the advertisement. Besides working with the bank and 401...

Glitzy, I have been sending you prayers and hugs here and at another reply on the book! We are here to support you! It must be overwhelming right now. Please take care! As for the services, each family would have different arrangements because of different family history and traditions. Here was what I did. There were big things my husband decided or expressed his preferences. I followed his instructions and ...
