Thank You PunkyD. I understand people are realistic, as they should be. No Offense Leonard but I have read your posts and you offer alot of insight to people who want information. That is great but it wouldn't kill you to stop being so negative and angry. Your wife, my father and millions of people suffer and die from cancer and it is sad and horrible. We are left here to continue our lives and I do not beliveve that...

They may never find a cure for Bile Duct Cancer but I know plenty of people who beat cancer. It all depends on what kind you have. I will not go through my life bitter because of what happend to my father. I still have hope and encouragement because without that...why bother living. Daddys Daughter.

Dad died Sunday evening Oct 20th. All I can say is.... my father was given 3 months, three years ago. Chemo can provide some time and relief. Thanks to chemo we got 2 3/4 years more than they said he would. He got to enjoy his family a little longer. Just 6 months ago the entire family took vacation together and dad was feeling well. He took a sudden turn in Sept and 6 weeks later h...

Hello- I told myself I wasn't going back on here because it was just too hard to talk about. I lost my father at the age of 68 to bole duct cancer on Oct 20, 2013. The last 6 weeks are just  too hard to talk about. I will say this....My father was diagnosed three years ago and they told him he had three months to live. He decided to try chemo even after they told him it doesnt typically help. He never lost his ...

Thank you so much. My dad is not only the man who raised me but he was my friend, my voice of reason, my hero. I will miss our phone calls. He always used to say...How is my baby today? Even when he was sick he always wanted to know how I was, how my day was going. He never complained. Heaven is getting one remarkable man!!! Daddysdaughter.

Hi Ladylinden-  It's a personal choice to take chemo. It did give my dad a pretty good quality of life for 2.5 years. He is glad it did it.   Take Care and I wish you the best. Daddysdaughter.

Leonard- I forgot to mention my parents live in Kentucky. I live in Pennsylvania. I spent the last week with my dad. I had to return home. I am okay not seeing the final days. The last week was hard enough. I doubt dad wants us to witness what is yet to come. I feel for my mom. Sandy
