      ty Bryan.. i know that cancer is not conatgious..I took care of my dad..my ex-husband & my best friend all of whom had cancer..my concern was the chemo being in the bodily fluids that could be passed on..or through any other way.. my husband did ask the dr. how long the chemo stayed in his system and he said up until hus next round..He gets a shot of velcade every week for 4 weeks and one off for the rest of his ...

          ty for your responses.. the cancer has robbed us of so much already..I dont want it to rob us of everything. we will have to give it a try and see how comfortable I am with it.. your answers have helped me.. ty.. and Bryan.. my husband gets his chemo on tuesdays so I guess monday would be a good start day..lol.. not sure about the plastic wrap or not..

              since my husband's diagnosis almost 2 yrs ago we have not been intimate. I have to say it's my fault as I'm afraid to be intimate while hes on chemo, however he will be on chemo the rest of his life.. we discussed it with the dr who said it would be fine, but my fear is getting some of the chemo in me and causing me to be sick.. I am not of child bearing age so thats not a worry.. has anyone else had this fear and if...

                my husband has the memory loss.. sometimes its worse than others he repeats himself forgetting he already told you that or he forgets what you told him.. they call it chemo brain.. it is a common side effect for many..it also can becoming from the pain meds as they numb your brain..

                  I wish you both the best.. my husband was diagnosed almost 2 yrs ago and had the sct 1 yr ago. he started off with the velcade..dex & rev.. did vey well on it with no problem.. after 7 months of that treatment he had the sct and was put on rev as a maintenance drug but ended up getting a horrible rash this time from it so now his mantanence drug is velcade once a week for 4 weeks then off 1 week.. he also gets zo...

                    Hi Brad,  This cancer is certaintly a roller coaster ride.. My husband was diagnosed in Jan..2011..he never was sick a day in his life and was an athelete in his younger years..however after getting the flu and not gettig any better I made him go to the er..thats when they found it.. he did have rib pain at the time... anyway he was diagosed at stage 3 and was put on the revlimid..dex & velcade for 7 months...

                      my husband was diagnosed at stage 3 almost 1 yr. ago.. he had the sct in april of 2013..they also got enough for several more if needed.. he was near remission for about 2 months and just today we learned his m-spike is up again to 0.3..he has been on velcade weekly now since the transplant.. this is a terrible cancer as there is no cure.. I am so sorry for the loss of your dad.. I know it was hard to watch.. take ca...
