My wife's name was Pam and we were married 35 years. I  am devastated and don't know what to do. I am having panic atacks and trouble sleping. I guess liVing 11 months was above average survival time. My Wife went through hell and almost died on two sepa...

My wife has been diagnosed with pc since April 2015 CA19 at 6000. She has gone through living hell with this damn chemo and stent blockage in bilary duct. Now she almost died from a galbladder that burst and had large go ball sized stone. She survived the surgery. I am praying for a miracle that perhaps she was misdiagnosed from the begining. I have heard that her galbladder condition can often cause an increase in C...

Praying for a miracle.I have heard that chronic inflammation of gallbladder along with stones can cause a high increase in ca19 and cea. ...

I was feeling great that my wives CA-19 had gone down by 40% each of the last two chemo treatments, but as usual we never get good news with this cancer. The nurse was oh so quick , almost as if she enjoyed pointing out that my wives CEA number was very high. I had never even heard of this CEA before. Does anyone know what it is and is there a clear relationship between it and CA-19...????

Sounds like the doctors are lazy. If your dad is strong enough the standfard of care if not operable is chemo-usually folfirinox and then gemzar /albraxane. What are his tumor marker numbers (CA-19).I wish you and your dad well my wife is fighting this monster as well...Wally
