Husband has had 2 craniotomies his tumor is back again just 2 months after 2nd surgery. He did radiation/Temodar but no opting. He was on Temodar and Avastin but will be starting cpt11 and Avastin next week. Temodar dose had to be lowered for him due to low platlets. I hope your mother does well with her treatment. God bless, Deb

Wag, glad to hear your wife did well with her second surgery. My husband was on Temodar and he had 3 clean MRIS. But the had to lower the dose of Temodar due to low platelets. The next MRI it was back. His surgeon said we needed to look at other options because it came back 2 months after surgery. She said Temodar was not working. He was on Avastin with the Temodar. He will begin CPT 11 along with Avastin Jan...

My husband was getting Avastin and also taking Temodar pill and his tumor was back within 2 months. He had a second surgery to remove as much as possible prior to starting Avastin. He went to Duke for a second opinion and possibly a clinical trial but he was not a candidate due to having been on Avastin and also because they saw 2 areas of cancer not just one...that excluded him from the Tetnus vaccine trial. ...

You say you were diagnosed in 1999. What encouraging news. My husband was diagnosed 2014 and has done everything the Doctors suggested but the tumor keeps coming back. What stage was yours and what was your treatment? Sincerely, Debbie
