    Hi Although I was stage 3b for lung cancer back in 2007. my battle with NSCLC was nasty I was suppose to have 9 rounds of chemo but only made 7 rounds. Food and drink that was supposed to go to my stomach went to my lungs.         Hi Have you checked with different doctors you really should get a second opinnion I was told I had one to live without treatment two years maybe with treatment. So there is help out there there is nothing to lose In 2007 I started treatment and am still in remission in 2013. So I know it can be done please give CTCA a call it might help GOD BLESS

          Hi Lovie I did have fluid in my lungs any time I drank something it would go to my lungs instead of my stomach.Have you checked another doctor to make sure. I know what I went thru and was told I had 1 year maybe 2 years with treatment but here I am 2013 doing well.             Hi My name is Butch in 2007 I was diagnosed with NSCLC stage 3b my chemo was Avastin-capoplatin &taxatere it worked quite well O had side affects lost feeling in right foot and my hair did not grow back but it did shrink the tumors I.ve been in remission the last 4 years so it did work GOD BLESS AND GOOD LUCK

              Hi It is good to hear from youHave you looked into a second opinion? When I first started out in 2007 a doctor gave me one year without chemo and maybe two years with chemo but here I sit in 2013 still in remission.I'm 69 years old and looking forward to my daughter's wedding in 2014. But sometimes a second look helps.I know these are hardtimes for you I do understand if there is something that can be done I know it...

                Hi My name is Butch back in 2007 I went to CTCA in Zion ILL. I had stage 3b NSCLC I was to have 9 rounds of chemo (Avastin Capoplatin & Taxol) I made 7 rounds but my lungs filled with fluid my wife rushed me to our local hospital where I was code blue I stopped breathing.                   Stacey I'm so sorry to learn your mother has passed on.My mother passed in 1979 although the pain is not as hurtful as it once was she is in my heart. Your mother fought the fight you can be proud.May GOD  comfort you in your time of sorrow if there is anything I can do to help please let me knowstay strong Butch

                      Stacey please before we say end stage would you please call CTCA maybe they can help I know how it feels when they said there is nothing else we can do.
