Thanks for sharing your story. My oligo is inoperable because of its location. I did 22 months of Temador and it shrunk the tumor some. I'm also on 750 of Keppra-had the same tremors you describe. Good luck with everything!

I have completed 16 rounds of Temador-5 days on at 440 mg and 28 days off. It's kept my oligo stage 2 at bay. It's inoperable-but the Temador actually shrunk it a bit! My last MRI showed no change. My doc said he would keep me on it for at least 18 months, then re-evaluate.

I just finished my 13th round of Temodar-440 MSG per day, 5 days-for my oligo stage 2. I'm doing really well-it has actually shrunk the tumor a bit. Our goal was to keep it at bay-so I'm pleased with the results! All is well!

Thanks for your input, Dodger.  My Nsurgeon explained that it would be too risky to try to remove the tumor since it had infiltrated so, but I will feel more comfortable having a 2nd surgeon take a look.  I live in Dallas, so Houston is nearby.  My NO did his residency at MD Anderson and knows the team of surgeons.  I appreciate your advice!

I was diagnosed with an oligodendroglioma stage 2 in December.  Since it has infiltrated the right side of my frontal lobe, it was inoperable.  I have been on Temador since January and will begin my 5th round next week.  I love my oncologist and feel like I'm getting great treatment and advice.  When I saw him this week and asked about why at least part of the tumor can't be removed, he suggested ...

I was diagnosed with an oligodendroglioma in December of 13 and told that it had infiltrated the right portion of my brain and was inoperable.  I had surgery to confirm the diagnosis and am now on chemo (Temador).  I have had 2 rounds so far-5 days of chemo, then 23 days off.  I have not had too many side effects, other than being really tired and fatigued.  I have also experienced some itching th...
