Hello Sir, Yes that's what I mean.  What is a "pull through" ? Just got some more bad news - it seems the RCC mets has gone to my hip/femur.  I am to see a radiation oncologist this Friday.  Not sure what to expect. Glad to hear your stage 1.  I have been at stage 4 since November 2015. Thanks, George Thompson .

Hello, My recent scan has shown another 15mm tumor located at the gastroesophogus junction.  Is there anyone else out there that has RCC with mets to their GE junction?

Thank you Tumorwarrior for your message.  I pray and wish you the best my friend. Well my follow up scans showed my tumors have gotten larger and more spots in my lungs.  Oncologist wants to start one of the "Targeted" therapies. All advice appreciated.

Had my second round of HDIL-2 treatment the week of 31 August - 4 Sept.  My right kidney function began to decline with first dose and continued on with each additional dose until it shut down with the sixth dose.  All treatment was stopped at that time.  Currently waiting to have first scans on the 11th and appointment with doctors on the 12th to find out if treatments worked.

Dear Marcia, Sorry to hear of your diagnosis.  You may need a second opinion.  If you have certain pre-existing conditions like diabietes it is a lot harder on you.  But I do believe I would get a second opinion about removing the bad kidney. I wish you the best and GOD bless you. George.

Well on the 31st of August I started the second round of Interlukin2 treatments at Vanderbilt.  I was only able to do 6 treatments due to kidney failure.  My kidney started to shut down.  Doctors seemed to be happy that I was able to do the 6 treatments.  I go back in October for CT scans and hopefully good news!

Hello everyone, I hope this may help in someway and inform anyone considering taking the Interlukin2 treatments. Some background information about myself:  I am a 53 year old male who had my left kidney completely removed in October 2012.  During a routine CT scan in December 2014 a 1" tumor was discovered in my thymus gland along with a nodual in my left lung.  This evil RCC...

JimmyK, Thank you for sharing your husband's experience with me.  Praise the Lord for his full recovery!  You mention he is on Sutent.  Has his latest scans shown anything?  Do you know why the doctor put him on Sutent too?  Precausionary maybe? I have had no previous treatment except the surgeries.  Thank you and your husband and God bless you!
