Its not a great option but it is an option that is known to work in reducing the tumor size at recurrence (from my understanding). And is easily available whereas clinical trials are not easily available. But with two recourrences I'd weigh your opinion over anything else.  Is there a reason why you are not reaching out to other brain tumor centers?

Can't speak from personal experience but generally an outpatient MRI can be had for $500 or so out of pocket. (If you have ever heard of Open MRI's etc) And if you're up for a trip then overseas locations such as India can be $100/MRI.  Also keep in mind that each hospital has a Social Worker that can work with you to bring the costs down.

Do you mean post 6/12 month chemo? Or is he stopping chemo abruptly? Either way, there isnt any real evidence that marijuana can cure GBM, from my understanding. But generally you want a high-cbd oil. A better idea would be to shoot for a ketogenic diet.
